1. Purlin cold bridge with single-layer steel plate roof

2. Secondary purlin cold bridge with double-layer steel plate roof

In many cases, for the convenience of laying insulation cotton and the cleanness and beauty of the roof, the roof panel adopts the construction method of double-layer steel plate. In order to maintain a stable space between the steel plates, steel secondary purlins are usually added in the middle. When laying insulation cotton, the insulation cotton will be compressed a lot at the secondary purlin. When the insulation cotton is laid along the direction of the purlin, there will be no insulation cotton on the secondary purlin, and the phenomenon of cold bridge is very obvious.


3. Roof self-tapping screw cold bridge

Generally speaking, in standing seam or concealed gusset roofing systems, the roof panels are snapped or concealed through brackets fixed to the purlins. For the self-tapping screw of the fixing bracket, one end is directly exposed indoors, and the other end is under the roof steel plate, which is almost exposed to the outdoors, so the screw is equivalent to a heat transfer channel, and the heat directly passes through it from the indoor. If it is transmitted to the outside, in the cold season, if the indoor temperature and humidity are high, it is easy to produce condensed water at the end of the screw, and even ice-hanging phenomenon will be formed in serious cases.

The anti-cold bridge insulation screw consists of two parts: the bottom is a special self-tapping screw, and the upper part is a polymer screw head.

The construction method of the screw: install a special steel sheet on the special thermal insulation purlin, the steel sheet is pre-drilled with a round hole, and the thermal insulation screw is embedded in the thermal insulation purlin through the hole and fixed, thereby effectively fixing the special steel sheet. The bracket of the roofing steel plate is directly connected to the steel sheet instead of the steel purlin, thus effectively avoiding the occurrence of screw cold bridge.

If the indoor humidity is greater than 50% in the normal production state of the plant, insulation pads and insulation screws can be used to solve the cold bridge problem. The application method is to pre-fix the insulation pad on the steel purlin with double-sided tape before laying the insulation cotton, then install the steel sheet and the insulation screw, and then fix the roof steel plate fixing bracket directly on the steel sheet through the insulation cotton.

The application method is to install trapezoidal thermal insulation purlins first, then install steel sheets and thermal insulation screws, and then fix the fixing bracket of the roof steel plate directly to the steel sheet through thermal insulation cotton after the lining of steel sheets is completed.
